Meet Alouette's first cria, Alouette's Nicolette, born the same day as Artie - November 5, 2022. She is a beautiful fawn. Her sire is El Qieto,
Alouette would not nurse Nikki, unless forced, for 2 months. We supplemented with goat's milk and then with cow's milk, and now Alouette has decided to nurse her. What a relief

On March 10. 2022, Minuet and Smokey had their first cria together. Minuet's Charbonneux (French for smokey) - Charlie for short.
Minuet's mother is Silhouette; her grandmother is Pirouette; her daughter is Alouette, her granddaughter is Nicolette. What do you name a boy? Cigarette?
Milagro
A week early, Milagro was born on October 30, 2022, while I was at a Dia de los Muertos festival. He was not breathing at birth, so Shalon worked to save him. His name is Dia de los Milagros - Day of the Miracles.
